About us

This is a newly developed position within the company for go getting Business Development Manager.

This position will see you responsible for building relationships with existing clients, developing new customer relationships and lead the sales process with the support of technical experts and administration staff.

Based in Mansfield, Brisbane.

Responsibilities

  • Represent a well-regarded brand professionally within the industry, targeting developers, builders and architects
  • Build and strengthen key customer relationships, identify new opportunities and coordinate the sales process
  • Standardise the companies estimating processes, systems and documentation
  • Manage detailed tender selection, coordinate resources and review with company Directors
  • Post tender negotiations, contract reviews and project handover to delivery team
  • Providing accurate reporting to management identifying sales activities, achievements and opportunities

Who are we looking for?

This position is best suited to an energetic, ambitious person who brings business relationship development skills accompanied by technical estimating experience.  

If you have windows and glass experience and some sales experience, we would also be keen to hear from you.

You will also demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of the sales process, with a proactive attitude towards securing new opportunities
  • A passion for the tender process, enjoy sourcing and securing opportunities
  • Experience operating within the electrical and associated industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
  • Enjoy operating in an autonomous role and leading a team to achieve successful outcomes
