Our client provides older Australians with the ability to access the wealth within their homes and the ability to live a financially independent retirements without the need to down size.

Do to some exciting growth they are now looking to take on a Customer Care Officer to sit within their Customer Service team. Reporting to the Manager of Customer care, you would be joining a tight knit, positive team who feel passionately about providing an excellent customer experience.

The Role

As the successful Customer Care Officer you would be providing an excellent customer service experience on every single call. Aiming to consistently exceed expectations and go above and beyond for customers. The primarily responsibility is to be the first point of contact to clients regarding general enquiries, eligibility checks, booking appointments and product education as well as calculating estimates and other administration involved in managing customer files. This role does not involve outbound or sales calls, it is purely a mix of answering inbound calls and managing the administration associated with customer enquiries and files.

The Responsibilities

Further responsibilities include:

  • Taking inbound calls and email enquiries from customers
  • Providing specific input and feedback to Management in relation to day to day enquiries
  • Taking ownership of customer issues
  • Accurately collect customer information and business intelligence that can be used to better understand the customer and their situation
  • Delivering all information to customers in a manner that supports and maintains the reputation of the business
  • Educating customers around functionality of the product and it's benefits

Experience

The successful Customer Care Officer will have the following experience:

  • Previous contact centre experience
  • Experience in mortgages or residential settlements will be highly regarded but not essential
  • An excellent phone manner and clear communication skills
  • Strong administration skills with the ability to convey patience and empathy through telephone conversation
  • Demonstrates excellent listening skills and strong organisational, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
