Our client is looking for a Customer Service Officer to work within the Administration/Customer service team.

This is FT casual role of 37.5 hours per week.

This frontline position aims to ensure the prompt and efficient response to customers' requests and orders with the objective of exceeding the customers' expectations at all times.

Job Description

• Carry out customer service functions of order taking and processing, counter sales, and assisting customers, both internal and external with queries in a prompt and courteous manner;
• Where applicable, manage a debtor's ledger to ensure timely collections, resolution of disputes on accounts, and contribute to the DSO target for the region by contacting customers and ensuring payments are made following the approved processes;
• Receive phone calls and handle clients/customers questions, queries and/or problems;
• Data entry of information / sales orders;
• Generate purchase orders;
• Invoice works orders and sale orders;Follow up on customer payments.

The Successful Applicant will have:

• Proven customer service abilities in an industrial product environment
• Computer literacy (MS Office programmes)
• Accurate data entry skills
• An eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Planning and organisation skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and independently
• Enthusiastic and "can do" attitude
