About the role

This isn't your typical helpdesk gig. Kinetic IT is responsible for managing some of the largest ICT environments in Australia. Our fun, collaborative helpdesk team is famous for providing the best customer service in the industry - and they even have an award to prove it! Providing helpdesk support to Australia’s largest and iconic airlines will hold you in good stead for your future career in IT. We are looking for full time permanent staff to become part of our 24/7 team based at Mascot.

Here are some of the things our service desk analysts get involved in on a daily basis:

  • Troubleshooting & investigating IT-related issues
  • Logging jobs and escalating to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborating with other vendors and service providers
  • Publishing and reviewing knowledge-base articles.
About you

You’re looking for your first role within an ICT environment, you have excellent customer service skills and want to be part of a fun, dynamic and friendly service desk team. You're energetic, compassionate and enjoy bringing out the best in people and technology. You've perfected the art of following process whilst still knowing when to use your own initiative. Technical skills aside, you're great at translating technical jargon into language everyone can understand.

On top of being a troubleshooting guru, you'll have the following:

  • Top-notch communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to always stay cool, even when under pressure
