About the role

We are looking for an experienced project manager that has delivered on complex customer experience projects or programs. The Project Manager will lead this transformation projects to ensure these unique business outputs are achieved. The project’s objectives are to foster customer loyalty through high-quality interactions at each channel, improve experiences that customers have with Sydney Water, with the ultimate goal of increasing customer satisfaction.

The role sits within our Customer Direction and Experience business who’s vision is to make promises to our customers that reflect what they need, want and value and to work in partnership with the business to deliver those promises.

  • Define and manage project scope, time, quality, cost, resourcing, procurement, change, stakeholders & comms, risks & issues and integration
  • Lead the project to ensure agreed deliverables are achieved
  • In conjunction with the assigned Change Manager, define and implement effective change and communication strategies and plans. Ensure change activities are integrated with the project schedule.
  • Define and manage project governance framework and structure including lifecycle stage and decisions
  • Manage high level roadmap of critical path, milestones to enable effective stakeholder engagement and interdependency management
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate project issues and risks
  • Effectively identify and manage key stakeholders to accomplish the project objectives
  • Manage third party contributions to the project

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in the managing the delivery of multiple, complex, multi-disciplinary customer experience projects
  • Extensive experience in utilising project management principles, methodologies and tools, preferably Prince 2 and PMBOK
  • Green belt six sigma qualifications are highly desirable
  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management
  • Exceptional coms both written and verbal
