Due to their continued success, they are seeking a proactive, energetic and experienced Customer Service Consultant to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Answer customer telephone enquiries, orders, service needs and complaints, respond where applicable or direct to the relevant Customer Service Consultant or sales professional
- Maintain a detailed and current knowledge of the company's products and services
- Solve simple customer problems and analyse customer service needs for communication to sales, service and other departments
- Liaise with sales and other personnel to keep them up to date with customer needs as appropriate
- Ensure that orders and invoices are processed efficiently and with minimal errors
- Monitor distribution of products for customers where necessary, ensuring that backorders are filled as expected
- Follow up on orders placed by the Customer Service Consultants and Sales Representatives where necessary
To be considered you will require the following skills and abilities:
- A minimum of 2 years' professional experience within a call centre environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- The ability to problem-solve and think 'outside the square'
- The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
- A professional phone manner and positive attitude towards assisting customers
- Strong inbound and outbound sales skills
- Proven experience in handling customer enquiries and complaints proactively and sensitively
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and accurate data entry skills
