Temporary Full-time Position | Northwest Suburbs

Due to their continued success, they are seeking a proactive, energetic and experienced Customer Service Consultant to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. 

Key responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Answer customer telephone enquiries, orders, service needs and complaints, respond where applicable or direct to the relevant Customer Service Consultant or sales professional
  • Maintain a detailed and current knowledge of the company's products and services
  • Solve simple customer problems and analyse customer service needs for communication to sales, service and other departments
  • Liaise with sales and other personnel to keep them up to date with customer needs as appropriate
  • Ensure that orders and invoices are processed efficiently and with minimal errors
  • Monitor distribution of products for customers where necessary, ensuring that backorders are filled as expected
  • Follow up on orders placed by the Customer Service Consultants and Sales Representatives where necessary

To be considered you will require the following skills and abilities:

  • A minimum of 2 years' professional experience within a call centre environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • The ability to problem-solve and think 'outside the square'
  • The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
  • A professional phone manner and positive attitude towards assisting customers
  • Strong inbound and outbound sales skills
  • Proven experience in handling customer enquiries and complaints proactively and sensitively
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and accurate data entry skills
