About the opportunity
Reporting to the Customer Service Resolutions Manager, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will play a key part in managing escalated customer enquiries, and ensuring positive outcomes for our customers and the business.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customers request for information in a timely manner
- Effectively manage enquiries and complaints, resulting in a positive outcome for the customer, within company policy and at the lowest cost
- Develop effective working relationships with other parts of the business to help in fostering solutions to customer issues in a timely manner
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring that all inquiries/complaints are recorded in Jemena’s systems in a timely manner
What we’re looking for
As the successful candidate you will bring the following skills and experience with you:
- Strong experience in customer service
- Experience within Utilities desirable but not essential.
- Ability to display empathy when dealing with customers
- Demonstrated experience in conflict management
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating settlements
