Senior Customer Service Role

A dedicated and creative Senior Customer Service Representative (SCSR) is sought for a busy and growing car and truck rental company.

Our wish list

We are seeking the following qualities:

  1. Customer Service: Deliver a high quality of customer service with an emphasis on building relationships and contributing to the growth targets of the business.

  2. Repeat customer revenue: It is one of our most important sources of income and as an CSR you would be expected, in due course, to understand and respond to repeat customers in a tailored fashion.

  3. Attention to detail: The ability to execute daily standard operating procedures with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency and detail and report any anomalies to the Operations Manager.

  4. Organisational skills: Managing reservations, ensuring fleet availability and requirements to honour forward bookings.  

  5. Ambition: At Orana, we are looking to grow our business and take it to the next level. We are looking to build a team that can take us there and in doing so progress their careers.

We need your help as follows

  1. Complete rental agreements face to face with customers, explain basic terms and conditions and answer any questions that they may have.
  2. Take bookings over the phone, via the internet and face to face using our reservations system.

  3. Manage daily activity reports, forward bookings and vehicle requirements. In doing so ensure that overdue vehicles are followed up promptly and returned vehicles are prepared for the next customer.

  4. Follow up on overdue rental charges and complete any pre arranged billing that is required.

  5. Monitor emails and ensure appropriate communication is actioned within the required time frame. 

Other Basic Requirements:

  1. Good computer skills as most business tasks/processes are completed via a desktop computer or iPad.

  2. Unrestricted driving license

  3. Must be available to work 3 days during the week and every alternate weekend (both Saturday and Sunday). Additional week days may be available during the week.

  4. Ability to clean vehicles on the odd occassion
