Join PwC's Emerging Company Services team as a Manager, providing advice in a collaborative and connected team to Australian business that are privately held.
 
The Opportunity
Our Private Clients Emerging Company Services team helps Australia's fast growth technology companies across a range of different services. This includes advising them on their working capital/growth funding requirements and helping them source this from the myriad of options available, through to helping them deploy capital in the most meaningful way - for example providing them with a critical path to market for presentation to potential channel partners or investors. From improving healthcare, to creating smarter cities and igniting Australia's earlier stage technology industry, you'll help companies solve important financial and management problems.
 
Our Emerging Company Services team consists of experts in a range of fields across tax structuring, management consulting and deals who share a passion for finding Australia's next generation of market leaders. This successful, market leading team helps clients navigate through their ever changing commercial landscape. This team make up part of the wider Private Clients team who collectively bring deep industry experience and international networks to help businesses succeed from concept to exit.
 
As a valued Manager in the team, your impact will be made by your ability to act as a trusted advisor in the market and a point of reference and support for your peers. Developing your own ecosystem and referral network will be key to your success.

You will:

• Lead and provide coaching to junior team members
• Drive meaningful client relationship and service delivery
• Present research information and analysis to clients - so the ability to present and deep understanding of Powerpoint is key
• Engage with executive management at target companies and manage our relationship with them
• Identifying key value drivers and driving financial analysis including an ability to understand and discuss the financial models that underpin technology companies.
• Target and foster relationships with prospective clients
• Conduct sector research and assisting with development of thought leadership

About you
The brief is simple...
 
You have a strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis (use of excel) and would want to combine this with a passion for fast growth, emerging companies. You're commercially focused, able to communicate effectively and would like to learn more about delivering value in new ways. You thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture and want to join a firm that values problem solvers, the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and key stakeholders.

• Have a solid understanding of technical accounting, management reporting and valuations
• Have relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting/Commerce/Business or related qualification.
