Senior Manager Position available within one of the world’s leading financial market exchanges. The role sits within the Line 2 Group Compliance team with a focus on compliance framework and strategy. This is a newly created role and you will be working within a friendly, motivated team that encourages cross-training and internal promotion. This is a varied role with significant scope and responsibility.
Responsibilities include:
- Be responsible for reviewing, monitoring and testing the compliance framework
- Development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of the compliance framework
- End to end view of compliance
- Working closely with the GM and wider business for the implementation of the GRC platform
- Provide oversight and challenge in relation to compliance framework
- Working to embed a strong risk and compliance culture across the business
- Able to act as a 2IC to General Manager as and when required
- Report to boards, executive management and relevant regulators
To be successful for this role, you will possess the following skills:
- Ideally over 7+ years' experience within Compliance
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as legal or commerce
- Experience working with Australian regulators
- Strong understanding of OTC, derivatives, equities and exchange traded derivatives - not essential but advantageous
- Able to deal with senior stakeholders and present at Board level
- Analytical mindset which can be applied to work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Management experience - not essential but preferable
