The Advisor, Quality Assurance will play a pivotal role in working with APRA’s Executive team and business/ industry group heads to provide assurance to the Board, and to develop and execute appropriate techniques and controls to enable APRA to deliver quality outcomes. This rare opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced individual to join this dynamic and professional team. The role has responsibility for:
- Identifying issues and risks, and recommend solutions that align with APRA’s strategic plan
- Maintaining and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to provide advice that focuses on current and critical APRA issues
- Providing well balanced advice which accounts for the various competing interests of relevance
- Fostering a culture of ownership and accountability for the assurance and risk frameworks across APRA
- Continuing to develop and enhance APRA’s assurance and risk frameworks based on international, government and industry better practices.
