We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Product Strategy team. Working alongside a growing pool of expert analysts and designers, this role is responsible for managing a growing pipeline of enhancement requests for delivery of new features & capabilities to MyBudget’s systems.
The role will employ the best approaches and techniques to enable data collection, analysis, business process modelling & requirements engineering.
With primary focus on MyBudget’s core systems, you will be responsible for creating and driving business critical projects across software, infrastructure and operational initiatives.
This is a fast-paced role and its essential that the chosen candidate has in depth experience of working in an agile environment
Responsibilities
Performing feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with stakeholders to negotiate product functionalities and prioritise deliverables
Project planning and scheduling
Requirements engineering
Driving the concept and definition phases of projects
Modelling the business domain, including the creation of structure, behaviour and interaction diagrams using UML and associated notations
Authoring user stories, use cases and defining detailed requirements specifications, including acceptance criteria & functional tests
Ensuring best practice methods, procedures & techniques are adhered to within the Product Strategy team
Drawing on experience in Agile delivery methodologies to ensure a fast paced, frequent feedback loop for the business
Working closely with existing business analysts and product managers who are subject matter experts with deep knowledge of the business and existing systems

About you
You will be tertiary qualified, excel in working in a fast-paced environment and be excited by the idea of joining a core business analysis capability within a rapidly growing organisation. You are someone who thrives on driving multiple engagements in parallel.
It’s essential that you have fantastic communications skills and the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders with varied levels of technical experience. You will be great at balancing the needs of the user, business and development team
