A little bit about the ROLE
Reporting to our Senior Internal Audit Manager, this role will see you joining a passionate and highly collaborative team that is strategically focused and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This role essentially is responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of Internal Audit projects within the annual Internal Audit Plan.

This is really exciting because you will be utilising a risk-based approach, where the key objectives of each audit are to assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of processes and controls, along with identifying opportunities for the implementation of rational, value-adding improvements.

Responsibilities include managing the task allocation and execution of audit procedures within the team to ensure audits are completed on time, within scope and to required quality standards.

We’re seeking an experienced audit professional to bring a fresh approach and way of thinking to our established team. With a strong track record in owning and leading internal audit processes, you’ll be a key member of the team and fit in seamlessly with a group of energetic, like-minded individuals.

Your initial focus will be to plan, perform and report on a range of audits, ensuring time and budget targets are achieved. Using your commercial acumen and insight, you’ll provide feedback and innovative solutions to enhance current processes and procedures.

You’ll then build strong relationships with key stakeholders across ME’s complex business to ensure a smooth and thorough process is achieved. In addition, this very hands-on role will work with both pace and a team focus. You’ll support colleagues, seeking to develop and upskill less experienced team members while also providing a greater understanding to the business around risks and controls.
