The opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced full time Risk Manager to join our Collection Services business, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer.

Your main responsibility will be to oversee the risk functions for the Collection House Group in Australia, Philippines, New Zealand and any other applicable jurisdictions. 

The role will require you to:

  • Manage and monitor the Enterprise Risk Management (‘ERM’) Program for the Group in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 31000 ‘Risk Management’.
  • Overseeing the Risk Management Policy and Risk Management Framework.
  • Developing and maintaining the Risk Register.
  • Conducting risk assessments of business activities in consultation with managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing reports for the Executive Team, Audit and Risk Committee and other relevant internal stakeholders.

 Successful candidates will possess:

  • Understanding of the Debt Collection Guidelines
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a management position
  • Proven people management and development ability
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Outstanding organisational and analytical skills with the ability to solve day to day business problems
  • Understanding of legislation relevant to collection of debt (desirable)
