This well known fund manager has a new opportunity for an experienced operations/middle office analyst from funds management or asset custody.

The Operations Analyst will be responsible for the daily tasks of portfolio operations/middle office tasks: including order generation, reconciliations, proxy voting, corporate actions and some performance tasks. More specifically:

• Daily Cash management process including reconciliation of 3rd party provider and external custodians to determine investable cash
• Overseeing of all reconciliations provided by 3rd party provider and point of escalation if required
• Data/cash entry into investment systems where applicable and advice to 3rd party provider
• Order generation/modelling for managed portfolios across various portfolios/strategies
• Assisting with pre-trade compliance checking
• Proxy Voting: maintain all submissions of proxy votes for the strategies
• Corporate Actions: maintain any elective corporate action through online system & advise external parties when required. Maintenance of record keeping of all mandatory and elective corporate actions through internal systems and 3rd party provider
• Daily maintenance of the groups internal portfolio system that monitor all Australian Equity and Quant portfolios
• Perform daily reconciliation of performance returns for all strategies, ensuring the accuracy of pricing, valuation and benchmark data

The successful candidate will be degree qualified with proven experience in the above skills within funds management or asset custody.
