About the opportunity

In this role, you will assess and process commercial credit applications for BP’s Fuel cards and provide support to our Contracts Officer by assisting with contract preparation and administration for our Dealer Network Business.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Assess and approve new and existing customer credit applications within delegated authority
  • Monitor credit inbox and review applications for completeness and distribute to team members to action
  • Review customer credit applications for completeness and follow up with customers or internal stakeholders for additional information
  • Register and maintain security interests register, maintain customer files and bank guarantees
  • Maintain acceptance and release of securities in accordance with credit standard requirements
  • Ensure that each of the databases that have been created to track documentation at all times are maintained and updated as and when requireTo be successful in the role you will have:

About you

  • Experience in assessment and security management within a commercial credit related field or debt management
  • Knowledge of legal entities and corporate structures within Australia
  • Experience in interpreting consumer and commercial credit report will be highly regarded
  • Working knowledge of contract law, privacy act and relevant credit legislations will be highly regarded
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and a willing to learn new tasks
  • Previous experience in using SAP, GenPlus, or Siebel is desirable.
