A well known insurer is seeking a talented Investment Risk professional to join a high performing team. The investment risk group will asses investment strategies and group asset allocation through a risk lens. It is a varied role dealing with a variety of stakeholders.

The key responsibilities are:

• Asses investment strategies through a market risk/ credit risk lens
• Develop and recommend group asset allocation
• Interfacing with internal teams such as; capital modelling and actuary's
• Partner with the front office to asses risk for group asset allocation
• Measure and reporting risk to APRA
• Assist with Investment strategy

The key requirements are:

• At least 5-10 years in a similar role
• Technical ability in relation to financial instrument risk and valuation methodology
• Knowledge of financial regulations
• Ideally actuarial or advanced mathematical or statistical skills
