An exciting opportunity exists to join a leading and award-winning Financial Planning business that values the success of their staff, with offices located throughout the Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula of Victoria.
We are looking for an energetic, ambitious and self-motivated individual to join our team in the role of Associate Financial Adviser. The purpose of this role is to support a team of Financial Advisers as they provide strategic financial planning advice and service excellence to clients. Your responsibilities will include driving and organising client appointments, paraplanning, financial planning and lending administration as well as helping the advisers build long term client relationships.
You will have a passion for financial planning and while this role will provide a great pathway to becoming a Financial Adviser, it is not essential. Ideally you have acquired experience through working in a similar related service industry or alternatively through study. This experience and knowledge will be used to support a team of Advisers and your role will be important for the success they will generate. Your work ethic as well as sound technical, support and relationship skills will ensure your success in this role.
Your skills and experience:
Essential:
- Highly driven and motivated individual with a 'Self Starter' mentality
- Confident, engaging verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Professional phone manner
- Knowledge or experience of Financial Planning or Mortgage Broking industries.
Desired:
- Degree level qualification or close to completion
- Commitment to undertake your Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP)
- Financial Planning experience
- Experience in a support role
You will have a commitment to on-going study in the future to complete your degree and DFP and satisfy the ever changing industry educational needs.
