Based in our Hamilton Head Office, this role is principally tasked to create and implement pricing strategies that will maximise margins for the B2B fuels & bitumen businesses, as well as being the pricing lead for major tender responses.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Performing routine reviews of B2B Fuels, Bitumen & Lubricant price lists to ensure accuracy and relevance for the market;
  • Liaising with various departments (supply, finance, sales) to ensure pricing tools & models are accurately reflecting our costs, present a competitive market position & reflect our pricing strategies;
  • Supporting major tenders (B2B fuels) through the development of detailed pricing build ups, assisting in the creation of pricing related content & supporting customer engagement activities as required;
  • Managing pricing related activities related to routine contract reviews (e.g. wharfage changes, annual freight review, annual storage charge reviews, etc);
  • Leading various pricing related projects aimed at maximising business margins; and
  • Analysing price change patterns of competitors and continuously adapt based on supply costs.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Degree qualified (desirable);
  • Previous pricing analysis background or business analysis background;
  • Knowledge of the fuel and associated industries (desirable);
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential along with strong analytical capability;
  • Ability to work under pressure; and
  • Ability to solve problems and initiate corrective action.
