This large Australian based forex broker has offices in Sydney, China and Cyprus. Its rapid growth has resulted in the company requiring additional Backoffice / Operations / Accounts staff. 


The company is currently seeking an Accounts / Operations assistant to assist the team in performing basic treasury and accounts functions. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to progress within the organization.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Aid in the processing of all client transactions (deposits and withdrawals) through various payment gateways meeting deadlines.
  • Responding to client inquiries and pending case inquiries to ensure timely resolution.
  • Validation and checking of client payment (withdrawal) requests.
  • Ensure all banking instructions (incoming SWIFTs, cancellations, amendments, reversals and bank charges) are authorized, processed, settled and reported in a timely and accurate manner.

 

We are looking for candidates who have the following:

  • A strong knowledge of basic accounting and general ledgers
  • An understanding of financial products
  • Educated to degree level
  • A positive attitude and track record of achieving tasks
  • Strong financial literacy
  • Well organized with good time management skills
  • Able to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and show initiative
  • Willing to work in an exciting, fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Resourceful and self-reliant and able to troubleshoot problems and solve day-to-day issues
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Able to take ownership of tasks and achieve goals
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Fluent in English: written and spoken
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft word and excel
  • Must be able to solve problems fast and efficiently
