This large Australian based forex broker has offices in Sydney, China and Cyprus. Its rapid growth has resulted in the company requiring additional Backoffice / Operations / Accounts staff.
The company is currently seeking an Accounts / Operations assistant to assist the team in performing basic treasury and accounts functions. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to progress within the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the processing of all client transactions (deposits and withdrawals) through various payment gateways meeting deadlines.
- Responding to client inquiries and pending case inquiries to ensure timely resolution.
- Validation and checking of client payment (withdrawal) requests.
- Ensure all banking instructions (incoming SWIFTs, cancellations, amendments, reversals and bank charges) are authorized, processed, settled and reported in a timely and accurate manner.

- A strong knowledge of basic accounting and general ledgers
- An understanding of financial products
- Educated to degree level
- A positive attitude and track record of achieving tasks
- Strong financial literacy
- Well organized with good time management skills
- Able to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and show initiative
- Willing to work in an exciting, fast-paced and competitive environment
- Resourceful and self-reliant and able to troubleshoot problems and solve day-to-day issues
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Able to take ownership of tasks and achieve goals
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Fluent in English: written and spoken
- Must be fluent in Microsoft word and excel
- Must be able to solve problems fast and efficiently
