An exciting newly created role for an Investment Principal to join this well-known leading ASX infrastructure services group. The business has experienced some significant change and growth in recent times with new roles and structures implemented across the group. Working within a high performing team this role will play a pivotal role in the company’s acquisition, growth and strategic plans.
  
This role will be responsible for managing a multi billion dollar investment plan for the business and work as a leader and mentor to a high performing team. You will be responsible for managing the firms existing investments, setting new operational strategic plans while designing the investment and capital initiatives. You will also be tasked with educating the business to think like an investor, with extensive exposure to the executive team. 

Specific Duties to include: 

• Manage the multi-billion dollar capital investment program for the business, working closely with the executive team 
• Managing the firms current investments tracking their performance against their investment case  
• Making new investments that enable the capital plan screening new investments to ensure they are aligned with the investment strategy 
• Manage the submission of capital requests for the Investment Committee and Board
• Run workshops with senior executives to ensure they view projects as investments, can write effective business cases and understand return requirements
• Influence and lead cross-functional teams, a wide range of stakeholders from commercial, operational and financial teams
• Manage and develop a team of highly intelligent high performing Analysts
• Work in a team of 4 that is high impact and gets high levels of exposure 

To be considered you will need to be from a top-tier firm, either an investment bank or Management Consulting, have great academics, have a strong interest in investments, experience in capital intensive industries and be looking to step up into a firm that is willing to invest.
