A key division of one of Western Australia’s most trusted brands, RAC Insurance is the largest Western Australian based personal lines insurance company. It provides a broad suite of products to just over one million members including car, home, health and life insurance.
Leading a small team and reporting to the RAC Insurance CEO you will foster and drive a proactive and robust risk management culture at all organisational levels. This will be achieved by actively partnering with all Insurance business units to ensure effective risk management practices, ensuring that all regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements are met. This will enable the business to proactively identify risk and implement processes necessary to manage risks.
This is an important and highly influential role that will require:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional accreditation.
- Substantial Financial Services sector experience with a strong knowledge of regulatory standards;
- Proven stakeholder engagement experience in shaping and promoting a risk culture;
- Systems and operational planning and reporting skills;
- High level interpersonal and analytical skills;
- A proactive, solutions focussed and strategic mindset;
