The Company 
Based on the fringe of Melbourne’s CBD, our client is an iconic and global fashion retailer. One of the world’s most recognisable brands, they are extremely well respected within their field. They boast a progressive and dynamic culture and are committed to the ongoing development of their team.

The Role  
Reporting to and working closely with a well credentialed Financial Controller you will be working in a commercially focused role with strong emphasis on FP&A. Drawing on your financial modelling and analytical skills, you will provide the business with financial information and analysis in order to make strategic decisions to maximise the performance of the ANZ region. Key responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted to:

• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly and YTD financials.
• Provide commentary on monthly sales and operational KPI’s.
• Ongoing analysis of both individual store and product category performance.
• Preparation of ANZ financial forecasts, by product category and store.
• Financial modelling and analytical support for the ANZ annual financial plan.
• Product margin, and wholesale account margin analysis.
• Conduct financial modelling and analysis for key projects across the region.

The Candidate  
With a relevant business degree, you will also have a CA /CPA qualification. You will have worked previously in an FP&A capacity in a highly regarded organisation, ideally a multinational. Experience within the retail sector will be highly regarded, but candidates from other sectors are also encouraged to apply. With an advanced financial modelling and data mining skill set you will have a proven track record of delivering commercial insights to the business that have been directly linked to improving business performance. With advanced Excel skills, you will also have previous experience with BI / Data Warehouse. Exposure to large and complex ERP systems will ensure you are able to hit the ground running.
