Client Details
My client are a leading national manufacturing and FMCG business. Due to continued expansion they are seeking a Site Finance Manager to partner across all operations of multiple sites. This is a key strategic role with a focus on true business partnership.
Description
Responsible for all aspects of management accounting & reporting activities for key manufacturing sites
Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for 2 primary sites and provide oversight of 2 further sites
Analyse variances to budget, forecast and prior week results and provide key insights
Provide operations forecasts and budgets for review with site managers. Includes Site overheads, direct labour throughput and headcount
Report and analyse budget and forecasts, including volume variances, labour, overheads and material usage variances
Provide all financial advice and guidance for the broader team eg: maintenance, quality, safety and warehouse
- Review of material usage variance for production orders, trend analysis and input into key focus areas for production improvement
- Review of direct labour costs and throughput actual vs budget to advise on key focus areas
Review of overhead spend for the sites to advise on key issues and focus needed
Profile
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 10 years experience in a Financial Reporting, Site Accounting or a Financial Analysis role, ideally from a manufacturing environment. You will be experienced working within a fast paced team and have high attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines.
Critical to the success of this role will be your customer focused mindset and ability to translate financial information into meaningful operational insights. in addition, you will have;
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced Excel spread sheet modelling
- Strong verbal and written communication
