The Decision Support & Analytics (DS&A) forms part of the wider Business & Private Banking (BPB) Performance Management and Reporting Team.
The team is responsible for supporting the BPB business in understanding the drivers of financial performance, and the identification of insights and opportunities to influence performance, as well as providing business case and project support to assist in the securing of Group funding for initiatives.
Do work that matters
In the Decision Support & Analytics team you’ll engage in financial analysis, modelling, as well as coordinating timelines and segment cost splits on all projects requiring BPB CFO approval. On top of this you will:
- Actively challenge business case assumptions and ensuring financial rigor
- Drive data interrogation and analysis that leads to insights to the BPB Leadership team on opportunities for improvement across business areas, and product areas.
- Provide real time intelligence on both competitor activities and broader business banking environment news
- Delivery of ad hoc regulatory request analysis to our regulators
- Coaching responsibilities for your one direct report
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
- Completion of Professional Qualification (CPA, ACA, FCA, MBA)
- Financial Services Business Analysis / Strategic Management Consulting / Corporate Finance experience
- Previous financial services experience / knowledge of banking products and regulations will be highly regarded
- Strong commercial awareness
- Strong analytical skills, financial modelling experience and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- People development / coaching experience
