The Role:
The Senior Accountant - Unit Pricing is responsible for ensuring that all assigned services are delivered within agreed Service Level Agreements. You will also be responsible for unit pricing technical support on assigned funds and the analysis and implementation of projects and initiatives impacting the Unit Pricing team as required. This role is responsible for ongoing oversight and management of the deliverables from the offshore team and review of these prior to dispatching to clients.
- Assist Unit Pricing Manager with day to day team operations.
- Sign off daily/weekly/monthly unit prices to ensure delivery to clients on an accurate and timely basis.
- Responsible for the analysis, calculation and release of unit prices in line with defined tolerance and control framework, including confirmation of out-of-tolerance GAV movements.
- Resolution of unit pricing issues in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that Issues Logs, Issue Tracker etc. are maintained and updated.
- Ensure effective process controls are in place for assigned funds. Review or amend as controls become redundant.
- Proactively manage deliverables with clients to what is achievable with given constraints.
- Engagement and participation in client change, internal change and business transitions
- Provide full SME coverage for all Unit Pricing and Valuation aspects of all assigned funds.
- Actively engage in projects assigned to provide SME input where required
- Attend client meetings as required and pro-actively work with Service Assurance to ensure a cooperative approach is undertaken towards meeting client requests where possible.
- Manage feedback to any internal teams which will have input into Unit Pricing deliverables to ensure that client deliverables are met and quality issues are mitigated
Key Requirements
- CA/CPA/ ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Extensive experience within Unit Pricing and Investment Administration generally
- Solid understanding of custody, shareholder services and other functional working groups
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments
- Proven ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and highly developed interpersonal skills
- Positive, pro-active, can-do attitude

- Attention to detail
$100,000 - $110,000 Total Package including Superannuation (Pro-Rata to 6 Months)
