We are looking for a motivated and passionate Payroll Officer who wants to progress their payroll career. We are looking for a can-do attitude, an aptitude with numbers, and a willingness to learn. This will be a fixed term maternity leave contract.
This is a full-time position, working in a high volume, dynamic payroll environment where you will be exposed to end to end payroll processing.
Based, at our Head Office on the Gold Coast, Broadbeach and reporting to the Manager Payroll, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up new employees in the payroll (Rockfast), and time and attendance (TimeTarget) systems.
- Administering changes to master files, such as rates, terminations and employee details in a timely manner in accordance with company procedures.
- Filing of all payroll documentation in an appropriate and timely manner ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Assisting with processing of the weekly payroll for 1700+ staff.
- Other ad hoc duties as requested by the Manager Payroll and Senior Payroll Officers.
