This is a 12 month assignment for a FULLY QUALIFIED Accountant working on a specific project - being a large, global organisation with a finance team of over 50, there will be the potential of other opportunities or even this role becoming permanent.
Reporting directly in to the Finance Manager, this is a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a global organisation based in the CBD.
This is a technically strong Project Accounting role, to help clear through a backlog of dormant accounts. You will need to encompass natural business partnering skills to get the information needed from key stakeholders.
You will then be able to clear everything from a legal, tax, company secretarial, accounting, insurance and debt perspective. You will have proven experience in project based accounting, a forensic and investigative mindset, and significant reconciliations experience.
Key Requirements:
- IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE - max 1 week notice
- Degree in Accounting
- Fully CA/CPA qualified
- 2+ years of relevant Financial/Corporate Accounting experience
- High volume reconciliations
- Experience in a project/forensic accounting role will be highly regarded
