Professional Search Group are currently working with a global giant in the retail industry as they seek an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their fantastic team. With 4 direct reports, this role will suit somebody looking to start a new challenge in a testing and innovative environment and also someone looking to make a step up from a Senior Position. Reporting to the Financial Controller, my client are looking for someone to join the team who will improve and streamline process and add real value to business performance.
Responsibilites for the role include but are not limited to:
- Daily supervision of Accounts Payable department reporting to the Financial Controller
- Managing and dealing with discrepencies, queries and escalations
- Perform Month end duties ensuring deadlines are met
- Hands on Accounts Payable invoice processing at times assisting the team
- Be part of the improvement of the function with a highly receptive and change driven manager
About You:
- Self-motivated, driven, energetic and with a positive attitude
- Experience in a Shared Service environment
- Proven track record of leadership would be desirable but not essential
- Exceptional communicator
