Client Details
Our client is one of the top five growers and processor's of Almonds here in Australia, managing almond orchards across Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. The business can be divided into two divisions (1) an almond business which owns and manages orchards and (2) a manufacturer of a range of nut and food products to retailers, wholesalers and food manufacturers. Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to come on board, whilst a key member heads away on maternity leave.
Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the management accounting team in delivering monthly and annual management accountants
- Challenging budget holders on variances and forecasts, ensuring significant variances are reported with recommended action
- Assist and promote financial governance and control over assets
- Provide ongoing business partnering and financial support to each business department
- Ad hoc reporting requirements
Profile
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and skill set:
- CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Prior commercial business partnering experience highly desirable
- Great communication skills - both written and verbal
Job Offer
- Contract rate equivalent of $50.00 - $65.00 per hour plus super
