Story House Early Learning is a growing Childcare business with locations across the Australian Eastern Seaboard.
About the role
This newly created role will suit a self-motivated experienced payroll officer. The company currently has locations across the Australian Eastern Seaboard, with well progressed plans for further aggressive growth. Previous exposure to payroll functions across multiple states will be highly regarded. The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and will be critical in the delivery of payroll services across the group's portfolio.
The key accountabilities for the position include:
- Assist with the establishment of an inhouse payroll function
- Full responsibility for end to end payroll processing and compliance
- Interface with operational personnel to ensure integrity and timeliness of information

Skills and experience
You will be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will:
- Be suitably experienced with a demonstrated background in a similar role
- Have a strong ability to deliver outcomes under pressure of deadlines
- Have excellent analytical skills
- Have a strong customer service focus
- Experience gained in the Early Childhood sector would be highly considered
