As the company is growing to meet operational and client demands, we are now seeking an experienced Reconciliation Officer join our highly successful team based in our Ultimo office. 

About the role

This role will see you provide reconciliation assistance supporting employees, Contractors and clients. You will be responsible for the efficient and timely completion of all Administrative and Discrepancy Reporting and requires a high attention to detail and the ability to complete unplanned and multiple tasks daily, as well as delivering on set functions weekly, fortnightly and monthly.

The key duties of this role will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare, reconcile and submit payment claim statements or assessment files to major clients on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis
• Liaise with client administration and reconciliation staff to ensure effective resolution on all claims and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner
• Investigate discrepancies raised by clients as well as jobs that appear on exception reports
• Ensure any errors are identified and corrected before invoicing Client.
• Effectively administer the allocated project's Aged Accounts Receivables in order to maximise amount collected
• Develop and implement reporting that accurately profile Aged Debts to reduce the company's exposure to outstanding debts
• Look for continuous improvement in the reconciliation process & aged debtors focusing on reducing exposure to bad debts
• Ad-hoc support & duties to the Finance and Administration teams as required and support other projects outside of the Reconciliation role

To be considered for this role, the following attributes and skills will be required

• Demonstrated Reconciliation experience
• MS Navision experience and / or accounting background highly desirable
• Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to present and recommend clear information and resolutions
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills – ability to pick up in-house databases quickly
• Fast and Accurate Data Entry

• A natural flair to carry out administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Must have very strong attention to detail
• Flexible to work across multiple projects
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced and high-volume environment
• Problem resolution skills
• Ability to communicate articulately with a wide range of stakeholders & to build excellent internal and external relationships
• Strong administration skills, where no task is too big or too small
• Positive and can-do attitude to take on any new duties which may include learning new and challenging tasks
