We are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Administrator for a maternity leave contract (through to September 2019) with a well established and reputable Australian owned company based at Wacol.

Working 3 days/week (Mon, Tue, Fri) from 8:30am to 5:00pm, this role will be responsible for maintaining all accounts receivable and payable, together with providing internal support to administration and sales representatives.  The range of duties include:

  • Processing and reconciling accounts receivable (including trade references for new accounts, entering payments, monthly statements and debt collection)
  • Processing and reconciling accounts payable (including entering bills and preparing payments for authorisation)
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Processing payroll
  • Preparing end of month reports and Business Activity Statement (BAS)
  • Providing general customer service and administration support within a small but highly productive team

Applicants will need to demonstrate solid experience in accounts administration / bookkeeping, including:

  • Previous experience within a similar role (including responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and BAS)
  • High level of competence using MYOB AccountRight Plus (Cloud version)
  • Confidence using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • High level communication (written and verbal) skills with a strong customer service focus
  • Results oriented approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage workload and achieve deadlines with minimal supervision

Your availability to work 3 days per week (on Monday, Tuesday and Friday) through to September 2019 (to cover the maternity leave contract period) is also essential.
