CULTURE KINGS - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented professional to join Australia's leading streetwear & lifestyle store – Culture Kings.
We currently have a Full-time position in our Finance Department for a talented Accounts payable officer - reporting to the Financial Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Full AP function
- Accurate, high volume invoice processing
- Matching and coding of invoices and credit notes
- Customs import compliance
- Foreign currency payments
- Weekly and monthly vendor payment runs across multiple entities
- General journal entries
- Supplier prepayments
- Adhoc vendor payments as required
- GL Account reconciliations
- Supplier reconciliations
- Resolve supplier queries
- Identify and/or participate in process improvement
- Adhoc duties as required
REQUIREMENTS;
- MUST have intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc)
- MUST have at least 5 years Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of a medium to large finance system
- Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Process and compliance driven
- Proactive and self-motivated
- High attention to detail
- Mature minded with the ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment
- Passion for growth, innovation & process improvement
- Experience with the latest AP and process technologies (Auto matching, Scanning and OCR etc) would be looked upon favorably
