The role

My client is looking for an experienced accountant to come in and hit the ground running.

You will work as a part of a team. You will receive continual training, reward, recognition and development as required. The successful candidate will have access to a large and varied client base. The role will allow for excellent training as well as working for a friendly team culture. 

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for all entities
• Business Advisory and value-add tasks
• Tax planning and advisory
• Mentoring junior/graduate staff 
• Liaising with clients face to face

About you

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 3+ years working experience in public practice
• Studying CA/CPA 
• Ability to prioritise and manage work in progress
• Previous experience working on complicated client files 
• Impeccable written & verbal communication skills
• Desire to progress career
• Strong work ethic
• Xero knowledge
