With in-house rotation for its teams to learn and develop, its fostering of flexible working practices and stunning offices in the inner suburbs of Sydney, this is an enviable opportunity for not only one, but two, candidates to develop on a 12 month contract as a Finance Business Partner in the Corporate and Shared Services areas.
About the role
This role has the key focus of delivering on commercial and strategic decision support for the corporate and shared services areas of the business. Ensuring targets and financial reporting requirements are completed in an accurate and timely manner. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the corporate functions and really contribute to the drive on business transformation and leading change.
Key responsibilities:
- Management and delivery of budgeting and forecasting
- Provide commercial support to the Senior Management team relating to financial targets and cost efficiency drivers
- Management of four direct reports
- Sign off for business case models for new initiatives after analysis and approval
- Continuous business performance assessment and benchmarking against KPIs
- Development and maintenance of relationships with the shared service and group finance functions as well as external stakeholders
- Generate and apply data analytics to key cost and revenue drivers
About you
As the ideal candidate you MUST BE immediately available and able to commit to a 12 month contract. You MUST have ASX or multinational experience within a Business Partnering role, preferably with Corporate or Shared Services functions.
You will be a motivated people leader with intuition that encourages others to think outside the box and turn a strategic lens to commercial business drivers.
Your skills and attributes:
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience within a large or global corporate
- Experience in a business with complex reporting matrices
- Previous experience within cost accounting within a commercial environment
- Proven and developed stakeholder management skills
- Proven record in financial analysis and business case development
- Highly driven and self-motivated with strong level of autonomy
- CA/CPA qualified - preferably from Big4 or 2nd tier chartered firm in Australia, UK or Ireland
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion will be highly regarded
