About the role:
The Senior Finance Manager sits within the team which provides business partnering and financial management services to the Group Operations & IT services functions.
Your team’s primary roles is to:
- Provide decision support services including financial information, insights and advice to the Group's IT Services functions
- Provide guidance and advice on the financial performance, delivery to financial plans and forecasts including financial impacts of change initiatives.
- Develop and deliver meaningful insights to drive better business performance. Including identification of cost optimisation opportunities, provision of objective analysis and underlying trends that may represent emerging issues.
Requirements for this position:
The Senior Finance Manager will be able to demonstrate strong leadership capability, be able to influence senior stakeholders and have a passion for interaction with individuals outside of the financial arena. With a well-honed ability to explain complex financial principles in lay man’s terms, the role holder will possess an engaging and thoughtful communication style and superior written ability. In addition the role holder will satisfy the following criteria:
- Be CA or CPA qualified
- Have at least 5 years experience of partnering with non-finance individuals - candidates with exposure to working with corporate IT teams are encouraged to apply
- Possess extensive financial and management reporting experience
- Be a strategic thinker who has a solutions driver mindset
- Be able to demonstrate leadership skills and / or potential
