This international medical technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team and manage one direct report. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for Revenue Recognition, General Ledger, and Month End, among other things. This position is responsible for dealing with and responding to frequent ad hoc requests from senior management - it requires a candidate who is confident, technically strong, and able to business partner with different areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue recognition in compliance with company policies - roll out of changes as well as data gathering
• Intercompany transaction processing in a timely and accurate manner 
• Month end closing tasks and journals
• General ledger reconciliations
• Ability to deal with ad hoc requests and enquiries from senior management

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years post CA or CPA qualification
• Excellent communication skills and outspoken personality is a must
• Ability to deal with a changing environment
• Bachelor of Commerce / Finance / Accounting
• Large company background - turnover of $200 million or more
• Advanced Excel skills
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• SAP experience
• Previous experience managing accountants or assistant accountants
