About the role

We are seeking an experienced accounts payable person to join the team in our busy office.

Some of your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;

• End-to-end accounts payable functions and tasks.
• Using an ERP system
• Daily cash flow monitoring
• Creditor reconciliations.
• Some data entry
• Managing relationships with suppliers.
• Maintenance of supplier details on ERP system
• Allocating general ledger codes and job numbers
• Processing monthly Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
• Monthly reconciliation of Creditors Ledger,
• Supplier credit applications

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes;

• Demonstrated experience in an Account Payable or Accounts All Rounder position
• Experience using an ERP System
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience processing high volumes of transactions
• Attention to detail
• Passion, loyalty, and a can-do attitude
• Ability to develop and manage supplier relationships
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment
• Previous experience working in a retail  / supermarket environment would be an advantage but is by no means essential
