Industry leader, providing cutting edge solutions around software and services. have a busy finance team and they need a CA to assist. Longer term opportunity for a permanent role, for the right person.

Position
You will bring your extensive technical expertise and your strong understanding of accounting standards to the finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working side by side, you will use your accounting knowledge, your ability to perform complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigation skills to this role.
You will also work across month end, variance analysis and tax reporting including FBT, GST and BAS.

You will provide solutions and be able to show the FC that you can manage fixed assets, inventory, reconciliations and other work across the team, solving historic issues and coming up with the right outcome.

Profile
CA and would suit someone with commercial experience in a hands on financial accounting role. Must have worked in Big 4 or second tier firm and be hands on and able to problem solve. You must be confident and a self- starter with good initiative and a commercial understanding. You will be solving complex problems and challenging the status quo.

Benefits
Initially a contract role starting immediately and then ideally the person will move to a permanent role in the team. Near the station so easy commute, high calibre team and salary is around $350 per day depending on experience. Longer term around the $90k plus super level and again depending on experience.
