Role

Support the execution of the work plan for the successful completion of the Company’s annual report and quarterly result announcement filings including providing expertise in applying accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Substantial review of financial statement submissions from the global finance teams to ensure accounting in line with IFRSs.

Preparation of review packs for Group Exec and Board.

Supporting the external audit process, working directly with the Company’s external audit firm to ensure that they receive all necessary audit requests on a timely basis.
Research and analysis of significant and/or complex accounting issues leading to the preparation of technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner.

Assist in the production of Group accounting policies and implementing new IFRSs

Work on special projects identified by management to find strategic solutions to issues facing a growing international company. This includes participation in transaction related work including: acquisitions, valuations, divestitures and the related necessary filings due to transactions.

Salary

Up to $135k plus super, plus a bonus.
