A successful, fast growing Australia & New Zealand Health Services provider is looking for a high achieving Accounts Payable Manager to lead a small team.
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for the following areas:
- Management of at least 3 AP staff;
- Set up all new suppliers in our ERP system;
- Ensuring that the AP team process, reconcile and pay all invoices in a reliable, accurate and timely manner;
- Liaising with all external stakeholders including suppliers and branch offices and address their queries;
- Cashflow management/reporting, cost analysis and audit queries.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, skills and attributes to succeed in this role:
- At least 5 years hands-on experience in AP with some staff management experience;
- Solid leadership and mentoring qualities to drive continuous improvement and efficiency through the automation of systems;
- Accuracy and attention to detail with an analytical flair;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills in a multi-site, high volume invoice environment whilst meeting strict deadlines;
- AP account reconciliation skills;
- Superior communication and negotiation skills;
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation to inspire others in their team;
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including AP modules in ERP systems and MS Excel skills.
