One of Darwin’s oldest and most established companies are leading the way in innovation and their forward thinking approach to business. They specialise in the areas of asset management, facilities services and commercial property amongst other things and, due to an interstate relocation, are looking for a qualified, efficient and committed Financial Controller.
You will report directly to the CEO and be supported by a finance director and adviser. Primarily you will be responsible for the management of accounts, monthly finance reporting, banking and payments, staff management and supporting the growth of the business as a whole.
The successful candidate will be a CPA and have prior experience working in a similar role, ideally in Darwin and with a strong understanding of Australian Taxation law. A background in, or experience with investor management, Government grants or Migration would be looked at favourably and the use of Xero and cloud-based accounting systems is essential. Mandarin or Cantonese speaking applicants are also encouraged to apply.
