Company
Based in St Leonards, with a great work culture, this listed business are looking to add a tax person to their finance team.
Role
This position exists in order to ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of the company’s tax compliance. You will sit with the broader ANZ finance team and have regular contact with the global head office.
As the ANZ tax specialist it is your responsibility to contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of an effective process to ensure compliance with Australian tax legislation and policies and procedures.
Role Responsibility:
- Compilation of tax notes for statuary financial statements, and group reporting obligations
- Work closely with accounting team to manage tax asset registers
- Preparation of the ANZ Tax & FBT returns
- Review of GST/BAS submissions
- Preparation of International Dealings Schedule
- Preparation of the reportable benefits for payroll
- Coordinating and managing the Transfer pricing documentation compilation with Corporate and Auditors
- Reporting of transfer pricing adjustments to Australian Customs
- Other ad hoc tax projects / planning if required
To be successful:
- CA or CPA (near or recently qualified)
- Company tax experience
