Medland Engineering is an innovative and growing design consultancy firm seeking an Accounts All-Rounder to join our dynamic and friendly team. With offices in Australia and United Kingdom, this position in our head office provides an excellent opportunity for a person with not only the necessary skills but the energy and enthusiasm to tackle a diverse range of accounting responsibilities.
Description
As the Accounts All-Rounder you will be working within the finance department with the day to day running of the finance function. You will need exceptional written and verbal communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. Your role will include but not limited to the following:
• Full function of Accounts Payable
• Assist Accountant with monthly and yearly reconciliations & reports
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and/or Debt Collection
• Payroll Processing for Australia and United Kingdom
• Various Ad Hoc Administration duties
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written, an unswerving attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. The role will suit someone who is enthusiastic, results driven, possesses high level of ownership and has had exposure to working within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
A degree in accounting, with at least 5 years work experience in an accounting capacity, experience utilising accounting software and advanced computer skills, including but not limited to excel are required. Whilst not mandatory, knowledge and experience within a multi-national organisation is preferable and experience with Deltek and Micropay will certainly be an advantage.
