• Salary $65,000 package

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable officer to join this high profile Fashion company in Melbourne CBD fringe.

The position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and you will be part of a great team

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the Accounts Payable invoices are prepared for weekly payment. 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Process high volumes of invoices
• Prioritize and distribute invoices 
• Vendor maintenance
• Assist in month end closing, including month end journals
• Assist with other general functions as needed

The successful candidate will have;

• Retail experience is essential
• High volume experience
• The ability to work independently
• Strong Excel Skills
• Around 5 years of experience in accounts payable or receivable in total
