Blue Cow Cheese Company was started in 1998 and is now well recognised for its quality, exceptional service and innovative products.  Blue Cow Cheese Products can be found in the country’s leading restaurants, cafes and gourmet retailers.  They are distributors of highly recognisable brands such as Maggie Beere and are continuously growing a stable of exciting exclusive national distributorship which complement their own Blue Cow range.  
 
The recent move of a team member in to a customer service role has now opened up the opportunity for a detail oriented, experienced accounts administrator to join the Blue Cow Cheese Company team.  The AP and Credit Controller will work closely with the Finance Manager and other members of the finance team to ensure that the company’s financial information is current and accurate.  The company uses MYOB EXO and several integrating apps and the role will involve accurate (and timely) data entry and the generation and analysis of various reports.  An important part of your role will be establishing and maintaining effective communications with customers, suppliers and your fellow employees.  Being a small business, there will be times when you will cover for others in the finance team so a broad accounts and payroll skillset will stand you in good stead, as will an adaptable and helpful nature.

Key selection criteria:
 
  • Previous experience in AP, AR, credit control and ideally payroll
  • Good systems knowledge including experience with MYOB, preferably EXO
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • An eye for detail that boarders on obsessiveness
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Practical understanding of accounts and cashflow principles
  • Certificate level qualifications in bookkeeping would be an advantage
