Our Client

Our client is a 4 Director Accounting practice based in the CBD specialising in providing tax and business advice to its diverse client portfolio. With a growth in their client portfolio and a restructure internally, there is now a need to bring on a new part CA/CPA qualified Accountant with 2-3 years experience to assist the Director and their team.

They are offering a generous remuneration package for the successful applicant, CA/CPA support as well as opportunity for further career progression and training.

Role and responsibilities:

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Working directly with clients and providing solutions on general tax matters.
• Providing assistance in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters where required.
• Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
• Providing advice to a large and varied client base. 
• Managing and monitoring staff performance and reviews and conducting training sessions. 

The Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• 2-3 years Australian tax and business services experience
• Part CA/CPA qualified - 1-2 units remaining or just completed
• Experience dealing directly with clients is essential
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Had experience in managing team workflow and mentoring graduates
