Financial Controller

This is a permanent role for a Financial Controller of this mining/energy company. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing and supervising the operations of the commercial and financial functions of the various operational sites.
The role is based in the Brisbane office and responsible for managing a small team.
Accountabilities include;
• Financial reporting and presentation to the CEO
• Development of financial forecasts
• Contract management, IT and transactional accounting functions
• Management of the financial team
Applicants should possess degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business along with extensive knowledge and experience in the area of financial management from within a mining, resources or heavy industry.
The role is a permanent position and the salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate, in alignment with qualifications, skills, capabilities and experience.
