The Company
Fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing and highly successful retail business who are expanding their operations here in Australia and abroad.

The Role 
This role will report into the Financial Controller and will focus on retail accounting, working with stakeholders to provide financial information and analysis. More specifically, responsibilities will include: 

• Assisting with month end reporting processes
• Processing journal entries
• Conducting daily bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment queries
• Maintaining the asset register, journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with annual audit and year-end reporting 
• Other ad-hoc reporting/analysis as required by the Financial Controller

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have: 

• Degree in Accounting and ideally studying towards a CA/CPA qualification
• Previous experience in a similar position - experience within the retail sector would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business
• High attention to detail 
• Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
• Hard-working team player 
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software (SAP desirable)
